PIRATES COMMUNITY / THE COACHING FRAMEWORK

YOUR
COURSE.

A plan for your body.
A practice for your life.
People in your corner.

02 / YOUR COURSESOBRIETY. FAITH. COMMITMENT. FITNESS. COMMUNITY.

START WHERE YOU ACTUALLY ARE.

BUILD THE HABITS.
KEEP THE HEADING.

Progress starts with an honest conversation, not a promise to become someone else overnight.

Tell Rob about your goals, your routines, and the support already in your life. Together, you can explore training, nutrition, and accountability that respect your health and recovery needs.

The community is being shaped around five commitments: sobriety, faith, commitment, fitness, and showing up for everyone. The right format, availability, and cost are discussed before you commit.

THE FRAMEWORK

FROM INTENTION
TO A REAL NEXT STEP.

A direction you understand.
Actions you can repeat.

  1. 01

    FIND YOUR BEARINGS.

Start with what matters: your health, your sobriety goals, your beliefs, your responsibilities, and what keeps getting in the way. Share only what you're comfortable sharing.

Leave with: a clear starting point and a meaningful goal.

  2. 02

    CHART A PRACTICAL COURSE.

Build a training routine and food habits around your experience, equipment, time, and needs. Make room for recovery support and for the practices that ground your faith and purpose.

Leave with: priorities you can fit into your actual week.

  3. 03

    DO THE WORK. CHECK IN.

Follow the plan, notice how you feel, and talk honestly about what happened. A missed commitment is information to work with, not a reason to disappear.

Build toward: consistent action and useful feedback.

  4. 04

    ADJUST. CONTRIBUTE. CONTINUE.

Review the week with Rob, adjust the next step, and look for a way to support someone else. Keep what works and ask for the help you need.

Build toward: sustainable progress and shared responsibility.

SMALL CHOICES. A STRONGER FOUNDATION.

FUEL. MOVE. RECOVER.

FITNESS THAT
SUPPORTS YOUR LIFE.

Training and nutrition are parts of the plan, not tests of your worth. Build routines that help you feel capable and stay consistent.

  • Workouts matched to your goals and starting point
  • Meals and preparation habits that fit your day
  • Rest, reflection, and recovery alongside the work
  • Progress reviewed with context, not judgment

A RHYTHM TO WORK TOWARD

SET YOUR INTENTION.
RETURN TO IT.

Your cadence is agreed with Rob.
No one-size-fits-all calendar.

BEGIN WITH PURPOSE.

Name one commitment. Make space for prayer or reflection. Decide when your workout, meals, and recovery support fit.

FOLLOW THROUGH.

Take the next planned step. Notice the friction. Reach out through the support arrangements you've agreed, rather than going quiet.

REFLECT AND GIVE BACK.

Share a win, own a challenge, and recognize someone else's effort. Turn the lesson into the next achievable commitment.

COACHING + COMMUNITY

GET SUPPORT.
BECOME SUPPORT.

A plan from your coach. Encouragement from your crew. Responsibility that stays yours.

We are exploring shared check-ins, group workouts, reflection, and opportunities to serve. Tell Rob what would help you feel connected. Group formats, meeting frequency, locations, and availability are not yet announced.

Faith is part of the foundation. Respect is non-negotiable. You don't have to share the same story, background, or every belief to treat one another with care.

BEFORE YOU GET IN THE BOAT

GOOD QUESTIONS.
HONEST ANSWERS.

Is this addiction treatment or a recovery program?

No. Pirates offers coaching and is developing a supportive community. It does not provide detox, addiction treatment, medical advice, or crisis response. Continue with your clinician, therapist, sponsor, or established recovery support. A workout or prayer is not a substitute for needed treatment.

Do I need to be fit or have everything figured out?

No. Tell Rob where you're starting and what support you're looking for. Coaching suitability is discussed individually. If you're beginning exercise or have health concerns, check with a qualified healthcare professional.

How does faith fit into the community?

Faith, hope, and purpose are part of the foundation. Prayer and reflection can be part of your practice. Questions and different backgrounds deserve respect; participation in a spiritual practice is not something to pressure another person into.

What happens if I struggle or miss a commitment?

Speak honestly and work on the next step. You will not be asked to earn respect through perfect attendance or a perfect story. If your recovery or safety is at risk, reach out to your qualified care team rather than relying on a coaching response.

What are the price and meeting schedule?

Community formats are being developed. Rob will discuss current coaching availability, what is included, pricing, and any proposed community activities before you make a commitment. Expressing interest does not enroll you or take payment.

ONE CONVERSATION. AN HONEST START.

WHAT'S YOUR
NEXT RIGHT STEP?

Tell Rob where you are, where you want to go, and what kind of crew you'd like to help build.
